Here is how I made rubberized rollers for my omniwheel home robot. I’ve tried three or more overmolding techniques and concluded that applying urethane rubber overmolding to omni-wheel rollers has...
This is a 12-roller robot 3D-printed DIY omni-wheel - a part of Kiddo companion robot. This open-source design incudes 3MF, STL, STEP and SolidWorks files.
If you are reading this post, chances are you have some trouble scraping plastic - of even removing entire 3D-printed parts - off the build surface.
Once you have made your airtight filament spool container - as described in this post - let’s take care of two more things:
If you 3D-print PLA only, I don’t think you need a dryer. But if you print just about anything else - PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon, TPU, polycarbonate and so on...
If you print only PLA filament, I don’t think you need any of this “nonsense”. Otherwise, if you print just about everything else including PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon, TPU, polycarbonate...
I use this mount for my Voron 2.4. This mount fits many common webcams - specifically, those webcams that have a horizontal tube-like hole in the back.
When searching for a Voron 2.4 nozzle brush mod I noticed that the available mods stick up from the bed high enough to interfere with the extruder’s movement - when...
Now that you have assembled your Voron printer, did you know that you can get a serial number from Voron Design for your 3D printer? I’ve gotten mine: V2.5212.
Voron 2.4 print volume height comes up short of the advertised 350mm (or 300mm, 250mm) - quite a bit - especially when using the StealthBurner extruder and/or PTFE filament tubing....

Watch Snoopy-the-pet-robot self-drive around a simulated living room,
hide under the table (as in hide-and-seek), play ball and “prompt” humans to play.

A brief development update - Maker’s Pet robots now work with YDLIDAR X3 PRO laser distance scan sensors.
Watch Snoopy the pet robot map the house and navigate around the house using the newly-created map. This is a fraction of what your robot will be able to do....
