$3.50
A precision, high-traction, SLAM-quality odometry wheel that fits N20 motors.
54 in stock
A precision, high-traction wheel that fits N20 motors.
This wheel is designed and 3D printed in a precise fashion to (practically) eliminate the wheel wobble. Excessive wheel wobble and/or lack of traction can reduce robot navigation accuracy and cause odometry-related problems with ROS2/Nav2 mapping and SLAM. In other words, iffy wheels can make your robot can drive off its intended path.
How to insert the wheel onto an N20 motor:
- Inspect the wheel hub to find the shaft notch on the hub. Please see the photos
- Orient the wheel so that the hub notch mates with the N20 motor shaft notch
- Press the wheel onto the N20 motor. Make sure the motor shaft is fully inserted.
Technical Specifications:
- Fits N20 motors: 3mm shaft diameter, 0.5mm notch, 10mm shaft length
- Excellent traction (in my opinion)
- 9.6mm hub depth; 11mm hub outer diameter
- As a guesstimate, can carry up to 0.5lbs of weight
- Friction fit – please avoid inserting the shaft multiple times to keep the fit tight.
- 3D printed using PETG plastic
- There may be stringing left over after 3D printing. The stringing does not affect the functionality.
- Wheel thickness approx. 4.75mm
- Red, blue or white color
- Nitrile rubber tire
- Wheel weight approx. 6g
- 3D STEP model
- 3MF file
3D Printing instructions:
-
I recommend using PETG. PLA is also acceptable unless your robot is exposed to the sun.
-
Set Seam Position to Random in your slicer, otherwise. Without this setting your 3D printed wheel may wobble a little.

- This product contains small parts. Keep away from small children
